Live Tech Spotlight

Overview

The Live Tech Spotlight is an initiative designed to highlight a project, a client, or a tool used within Nebulab's client projects. This meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month and is open to the entire Nebulab team. Initially conducted asynchronously, this initiative has been revamped to a live format to foster greater interaction and engagement.

Objective
The goal of the Live Project Spotlight is to:
  • Books Share knowledge about interesting projects that our colleagues are working on.
  • Hammer and Wrench Learn about new tools like Sanity, BuilderIO, Klaviyo and their application in our projects.
  • Light Bulb Provide a platform for sharing ideas, suggestions, and improvements.
  • Handshake Enhance our understanding of clients and their needs, improving our service quality.

Schedule
  • Frequency: First Wednesday of each month
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Time: 4PM CET

Format
The Live Project Spotlight will be a live meeting conducted via Google Meet. Each session will focus on:
    .1Project/Client/Tool Presentation: A detailed presentation about a specific project, client, or tool by a team member.
    .2Q&A Session: An interactive Q&A session where participants can ask questions and share insights.
    .3Discussion: Open floor for discussion, suggestions, and sharing related experiences or ideas.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Owner: Responsible for scheduling the meeting, coordinating presenters, and facilitating the session.
  • Presenter: A team member who will present the selected project, client, or tool. The presenter will prepare a detailed presentation and be ready to answer questions.
  • Participants: All Nebulab team members are encouraged to attend, participate in the Q&A session, and engage in the discussion.

Preparation
  • Presenter Preparation: The presenter should prepare a comprehensive presentation that includes:
  • Clipboard Overview of the project/client/tool.
  • Wrench Key challenges and solutions.
  • Chart Increasing Lessons learned and best practices.
  • Rocket Future steps and potential improvements.
  • Participant Preparation: Participants should come prepared with any questions or topics they would like to discuss related to the spotlighted project/client/tool.

After each Live Project Spotlight session, if you found the presentation or the project interesting and would like to learn more, please contact your manager. There are many initiatives that will allow you to explore more about the customer or the technologies used.
